Design Story

The glass gable brings the mountain inside.

Okanagan Vista is designed for sites where the view is the reason you are building. The glass gable opens the main living space to the landscape from inside, turning the primary gathering area into a room that changes character with the light throughout the day. Warm cladding and a strong roofline give the exterior an alpine presence that suits the terrain without looking placed there.

Living Experience

3,630 square feet with a 1,045 square foot loft above.

The main level organizes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a connected kitchen and living area around the glass gable volume. The loft sits above and open to the main space, adding over a thousand square feet of secondary living area that works as an office, a reading level, a bunk room, or whatever the household needs from a quiet upper floor.

Living Experience

Coffee with the light coming through the gable glass. An afternoon in the loft while the main level stays open below. Dinner with the doors pushed back toward the deck. Okanagan Vista is sized for people who want to live inside the view, not just look at it through a window.

Exterior Character

The bold roofline gives the home a strong alpine silhouette. Warm cladding tones the exterior down toward the landscape while the glass gable catches the eye and signals what the interior is about.

Custom Options

Orient the glass gable toward your strongest view corridor, tune the loft for the way your household will use it, and select cladding materials that suit the site. The plan is organized to absorb those decisions without losing the alpine character that defines the model.

Exterior Character

Front and rear views.

The front view shows the bold roofline, glass gable composition, and warm cladding palette. The rear view shows how the home opens toward the landscape and where the outdoor living areas connect.

Floor Plans / Layout Concept

See how the plan comes together.

The main floor plan shows how the living areas, bedrooms, and glass gable volume are organized at grade. The loft plan shows the upper level and how it sits open above the main space. Use both together to understand the vertical relationship between the levels before moving into site and scope discussions.
